About Romancoholic

An independent publication of relationship, dating and sex advice for women. Who writes it, how we work, and how we make money.

Let’s face it.

There are a LOT of websites out there offering bland, cookie-cutter relationship advice to women.

After a while, they all start to look and sound the same.

Romancoholic is different.

We are dedicated to those women who want more love, better sex, and happier relationships — all on their own terms.

We do this by providing women with the tools and advice they need to reach their unique romantic goals.

Whether you’re interested in dating, relationship, or sex advice, we’ve got you covered. From understanding men to marriage advice, or online dating to getting your ex back, you’ll find it all here.

Who writes this

Romancoholic has published since 2017 and is edited by Mike Morgan. Every article carries the name of the person who wrote it, and every writer has a page listing their work.

How we work

Every article is signed and dated. You can see who wrote a piece and when it was last reviewed at the top of the page. Older articles are revisited rather than left to rot.

We write plainly. No euphemism, no mind games, no manufactured urgency. If something is uncertain, we say so.

We are not therapists. This is advice from writers who research their subject, not clinical care. If something in your relationship is frightening you, please talk to a professional. Nothing here is a substitute for that.

How we make money

Some articles contain affiliate links. If you buy something through one, we may earn a commission — the price to you is the same either way, and a commission never buys a recommendation.

Articles containing affiliate links say so at the top, before you read them. We only link to things we would use ourselves.

Where to start

Pick the subject you actually came for:

  • Dating — meeting men, reading early signals, the first few months
  • Relationships — understanding men, conflict, distance, breakups
  • Sex — desire, confidence, and asking for what you want
  • Marriage — the long middle, and repairing what slipped
